77 Bible Verses about Sinless Giving

Think about Job, how he'd offer sacrifices for his children, worried they might have sinned. He wanted to make things right with God. It's a powerful image, isn't it?

But here's the amazing thing: you don't have to do that anymore. Jesus' sacrifice covers everything. His blood has cleansed you, forgiven you. That's a gift worth more than anything, right?

So what can you do now? How can you show your gratitude? It's not about burnt offerings anymore. It's about living a life that honors God. It's about waking up each day and choosing to walk in His will, showing love and obedience in everything you do.

That's the kind of "offering" that truly matters. A genuine heart, filled with thankfulness, radiating His love – that's what God desires most. It's like a beautiful fragrance rising up to Him.

You've already been forgiven. You've confessed Jesus as your savior. Now, turn away from anything that pulls you from Him. Embrace the good, and live each day as a testament to His grace. Live a life worthy of the One who called you out of darkness and into His marvelous light. That’s the best gift you can give.

Matthew 6:1-4

“Beware of practicing your righteousness before others to be seen by them; otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven.

Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts as we also have forgiven our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’

“For if you forgive others their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

But if you do not forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your transgressions.

“And whenever you fast, do not become sad-faced like the hypocrites, for they neglect their faces to make their fasting evident to men. Amen, I tell you, they have their reward in full!

But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face,

so that your fasting won’t be evident to men, but to your Father who is in secret. And your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you.

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal.

So whenever you do tzadakah, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, so that they may be glorified by men. Amen, I tell you, they have their reward in full!

“So I say to you, do not worry about your life—what you will eat or drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food and the body more than clothing?

“Look at the birds of the air. They do not sow or reap or gather into barns; yet your Father in heaven feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?

And which of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?

And why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They neither toil nor spin.

Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.

But when you do tzadakah, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,

Now if in this way God clothes the grass—which is here today and thrown into the furnace tomorrow—will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’

For the pagans eagerly pursue all these things; yet your Father in heaven knows that you need all these.

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

so that your tzadakah may be in secret; and your Father, who sees in secret, shall reward you.

When you come to appear before Me, who has required this at your hand— trampling My courts?

Bring no more worthless offerings! Incense is an abomination to Me. New Moon and Shabbat, the calling of convocations —I cannot endure it— iniquity with solemn assembly.

Your New Moons and your Festivals My soul hates! They are a burden to Me. I am weary to bear them.

Luke 21:1-4

Then Yeshua looked up and saw the rich dropping their gifts into the treasury box.

Then He continued telling them, “Nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

There will be great earthquakes along with famines and epidemics in various places, and there will be terrors along with great signs from heaven.

But before all these things, they will grab you and persecute you, handing you over to the synagogues and prisons, and leading you away to kings and governors on account of My name.

This will lead you to be a witness.

So make up your minds not to prepare ahead of time to defend yourselves—

for I Myself will give you speech and wisdom that none of your opponents will be able to resist or refute.

But you will be handed over even by parents, brothers, relatives, and friends—and they will put some of you to death.

And you will be hated by all because of My name.

Yet not a hair of your head will be lost.

By your endurance, you will gain your souls.

He also saw a poor widow dropping in two small copper coins.

“But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then recognize that her desolation is near.

Then those in Judea must flee to the mountains, and those inside the city must get out, and those in the countryside must not enter her.

For these are the days of punishment, to fulfill all that has been written.

“Woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath on this people.

They will fall by the edge of the sword and be led away captive into all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

“There will be signs in the sun and moon and stars. And upon the earth nations will be confused by the roaring of the sea and its waves.

People will lose heart from fear and anticipation of what is overtaking the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

Now when these things begin to happen, stand straight and lift up your heads, because your salvation is near!”

Then Yeshua told them a parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the trees.

And He said, “Truly I say to you, this poor widow has put in more than all the rest.

As soon as they sprout their leaves, you see it and you know at once that summer is near.

So also, when you see these all these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near.

Amen, I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all these things happen.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.

“But watch out so your hearts are not weighed down by carousing, strong drink, and the worries of life. Do not let that day come upon you suddenly like a trap.

For it will come rushing upon all who live on the face of the whole earth.

But stay alert at all times, praying that you may have the strength to escape all these things about to happen, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

So during the days Yeshua was teaching in the Temple, but in the nights He went out and stayed on the Mount of Olives.

And all the people would come early in the morning to hear Him in the Temple.

For all these put in their gifts from their surplus. But she, out of her poverty, put in all she had to live on.”

Remember Lot’s wife!

Whoever tries to keep his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life will preserve it.

“I tell you, on that night there will be two in one bed. One will be taken along and the other left.

There will be two women grinding at the same place. One will be taken and the other left.”

“Where, Lord?” they replied. And He said to them, “Where there is a corpse, there also will the vultures be gathered.”

Prayer

Redeeming God, I cry out to you today and seek your face. In Jesus' name, help me to have a forgiving heart. Show me how anger and resentment affect my connection with you, and how you desire for me to be a pleasing offering. Your word says, "Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your sibling has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift." Lord, even if I am the one who has been wronged, give me the courage and humility to forgive, to reconcile, and to show mercy, just as you have shown mercy to me. Holy Spirit, help me understand that my best offering to you is my heart, overflowing with your love and forgiveness. Help me to know that this is the defining difference, the mark of a child of God. In Jesus' name, Amen.
