to give to us, being delivered from the hand of our enemies, to serve Him without fear,
Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my boasting on your behalf. I have been filled with encouragement, I overflow with joy in all our pressure.
I pray therefore, that you do not lose heart at my pressures on your behalf, which is your esteem.
according to my intense longing and anticipation that I shall not be ashamed at all, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Messiah shall be made great in my body, whether by life or by death.
It is right for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart, all of you being sharers of the favour with me, both in my chains and in the defence and confirmation of the Good News.
So then, my brothers, beloved and longed-for, my joy and crown, stand firm in the Master, beloved.
