And He said, “Truly, I say to you, no prophet is accepted in his own country.

For יהושע Himself witnessed that a prophet is without appreciation in his own country.


And they said, “Is not this יהושע, the son of Yosĕph, whose father and mother we know? How is it then that He says, ‘I have come down out of the heaven’?”


But יהושע knowing within Himself that His taught ones were grumbling about this, said to them, “Does this make you stumble?
