He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions.
And He said, “If you diligently obey the voice of יהוה your Elohim and do what is right in His eyes, and shall listen to His commands and shall guard all His laws, I shall bring on you none of the diseases I brought on the Mitsrites, for I am יהוה who heals you.”
And they were all so amazed, as to reason among themselves, saying, “What is this, a fresh teaching? With authority He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him!”
And astonishment came on all, and they spoke to each other, saying, “What is this word, that with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out?”
And He stretched out His hand and touched him, saying, “I desire it. Be cleansed.” And immediately the leprosy left him.
So יהושע went with them. However, He was not far from the house when the captain sent friends to Him, saying to Him, “Master, do not trouble Yourself, for I am not worthy that You should come under my roof.
“For I too am a man appointed under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes, and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
See now that I, I am He, And there is no Elohim besides Me. I put to death and I make alive. I have wounded, and I heal. And from My hand no one delivers!
“יהוה puts to death and makes alive, He brings down to She’ol and raises up.
