And they saw him from a distance, and before he came near them, they plotted against him, to kill him.

For my enemies have spoken against me. And those who watch for my life Have taken counsel together,


And Yirmeyahu said to Tsiḏqiyahu, “If I declare it to you, shall you not put me to death? And if I give you advice, you shall not listen to me.”


Then the heads said to the sovereign, “Please, let this man be put to death, because he is weakening the hands of the men of battle who are left in this city, and the hands of all the people, by speaking such words to them. For this man does not seek the peace of this people, but the evil.”


But the Pharisees went out and took counsel against Him, so as to destroy Him.


From that time יהושע began to show to His taught ones that it was necessary for Him to go to Yerushalayim, and to suffer much from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and to be raised again the third day.


And no one was able to answer Him a word, and from that day on no one was bold enough to ask Him any more questions.


and plotted to seize יהושע by trickery and kill Him.


And the chief priests, and the elders, and all the council were seeking false witness against יהושע to put Him to death,


Now the Pĕsaḥ and the Festival of Matzot was after two days. And the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how to take Him through treachery and put Him to death.


And the Pharisees went out and immediately plotted with the Herodians against Him, how to destroy Him.


So the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered a council and said, “What shall we do? Because this Man does many signs.


And the chief priests resolved to kill El‛azar as well,


And after this יהושע was walking in Galil, for He did not wish to walk in Yehuḏah, because the Yehuḏim were seeking to kill Him.


And those hearing were cut to the heart, and took counsel to kill them.


And after many days had elapsed, the Yehuḏim plotted to kill him.
