And the first-born bore a son and called his name Mo’aḇ, he is the father of the Mo’aḇites to this day.
“And now, see, the children of Ammon and Mo’aḇ, and Mount Sĕ‛ir, whom You would not let Yisra’ĕl invade when they came out of the land of Mitsrayim, for they turned from them and did not destroy them,
For the hand of יהוה rests on this mountain, and Mo’aḇ is trodden down under Him, as straw is trodden down in the water of a dunghill.
And the high stronghold of your walls He shall bring down, lay it low, levelled to the ground, down to the dust.
“I, יהוה, do guard it, I water it every moment; lest any hurt it, I guard it night and day.
