And it came to be in the eleventh year, on the first of the new moon, the word of יהוה came to me, saying,


The word of יהוה came again to me, saying,


“Your wealth, and your wares, your merchandise, your mariners and your sailors, your repairers of seams, and your dealers in merchandise, and all your fighting men who are in you, and the entire company which is in your midst, shall go down into the heart of the seas on the day of your fall,


The merchants among the peoples shall whistle at you. You shall become a horror, and be no more, forever.’” ’ ”


“Son of man, say to the prince of Tsor, ‘Thus said the Master יהוה, “Because your heart is lifted up, and you say, ‘I am Ěl, I sit in the seat of Elohim, in the heart of the seas,’ whereas you are a man, and not Ěl, though you set your heart as the heart of Elohim!


Thus said יהוה, “For three transgressions of Tsor, and for four, I do not turn it back, because they surrendered an entire exile to Eḏom, and did not remember the brotherly covenant.


and Ḥamath also borders on it, Tsor and Tsiḏon, though they are very wise.


For Tsor built herself a tower, heaped up silver like the dust, and gold like the mud of the streets.
