“When they sin against You – for there is no one who does not sin – and You become enraged with them and give them to the enemy, and they take them captive to the land of the enemy, far or near;

So יהוה was very enraged with Yisra’ĕl, and removed them from His presence – none was left but the tribe of Yehuḏah alone.


until יהוה removed Yisra’ĕl from His presence, as He spoke by all His servants the prophets. So Yisra’ĕl was exiled from their land to Ashshur, as it is to this day.


In the ninth year of Hoshĕa, the sovereign of Ashshur captured Shomeron and exiled Yisra’ĕl to Ashshur, and settled them in Ḥalaḥ and Ḥaḇor, the River of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes.


And the sovereign of Baḇel struck them and put them to death at Riblah in the land of Ḥamath. So he exiled Yehuḏah from its own land.

O Yah, if You should watch crookednesses, O יהוה, who would stand?


But with You there is forgiveness, That You might be feared.

Who discerns mistakes? Declare me innocent from those that are secret,


Who says, “I have cleansed my heart, I am purged of my sin”?


For there is not a righteous man on earth who does good and does not sin.


We all, like sheep, went astray, each one of us has turned to his own way. And יהוה has laid on Him the crookedness of us all.


And all of us have become as one unclean, and all our righteousnesses are as soiled rags. And all of us fade like a leaf, and our crookednesses, like the wind, have taken us away.


‘And I shall scatter you among the nations and draw out a sword after you. And your land shall be desert and your cities ruins,


And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Yerushalayim shall be trampled underfoot by the nations until the times of the nations are filled.


And we know that whatever the Torah says, it says to those who are in the Torah, so that every mouth might be stopped, and all the world come under judgment before Elohim.


for all have sinned and fall short of the esteem of Elohim,


But the Scripture has shut up all mankind under sin, that the promise by belief in יהושע Messiah might be given to those who believe.


“יהוה brings you and the sovereign whom you set over you to a nation which neither you nor your fathers have known, and there you shall serve other mighty ones, wood and stone.


And יהוה uprooted them from their land in displeasure, and in wrath, and in great rage, and cast them into another land, as it is today.’


For we all stumble in many matters. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the entire body.
