And the sovereign of Yisra’ĕl and Yehoshaphat the sovereign of Yehuḏah went up to Ramoth Gil‛aḏ.
And Yehoshaphat said to the sovereign of Yisra’ĕl, “Please, first inquire for the word of יהוה.”
Ben-Geḇer, in Ramoth Gil‛aḏ, the towns of Ya’ir son of Menashsheh in Gil‛aḏ were his; the portion of Argoḇ in Bashan, sixty large cities with walls and bronze gate-bars, were his;
And he went and sent to Yehoshaphat sovereign of Yehuḏah, saying, “The sovereign of Mo’aḇ has revolted against me. Do you go with me to fight against Mo’aḇ?” And he said, “I go up. I am as you are, my people as your people, my horses as your horses.”
And Aḥaḇ sovereign of Yisra’ĕl said to Yehoshaphat sovereign of Yehuḏah, “Do you go with me against Ramoth Gil‛ad?” And he answered him, “I am as you are, and my people as your people, even with you in battle.”
And Yĕhu son of Ḥanani the seer went out to face him, and said to Sovereign Yehoshaphat, “Do you help the wrong and love those who hate יהוה? Therefore the wrath of יהוה is upon you.
He who walks with the wise, shall be wise, But the companion of fools suffers evil.
And have no fellowship with the fruitless works of darkness, but rather convictd them.
“And he who overcomes, and guards My works until the end, to him I shall give authority over the nations,
