A woman from Idaho, USA, killed her 2 children for believing “they had become possessed zombies.”
Lori Vallow Daybell, along with her husband, participated in the murder and then hid the bodies of the woman’s children, 17-year-old Tylee Ryan and 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow. Both were found in rural Idaho months after they were reported missing.
Authorities confirmed that both were involved in what happened, and details of the investigation state that the mother killed them because she believed that “her children were possessed and had become zombies.”
According to the statement of Melani Gibb, a friend of the couple, she said that the woman claimed that “in order to free the spirit, the body had to be killed.”
Both Daybell and her husband face charges of conspiracy to destroy evidence other than the murder.
The judge handling the case said that if she pleaded guilty, the woman would go to jail for 10 years.
Because of the results of the investigations, Daybell liked anything to do with the occult. She worked for a small publishing house that published fictional stories about apocalyptic scenarios based on the theology of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Her closest friends comment that she could receive “visions beyond the veil.”
