For now should I have lain still and been quiet, I should have slept: then had I been at rest,


And why dost thou not pardon my transgression, And take away mine iniquity? For now shall I sleep in the dust; And thou shalt seek me in the morning, but I shall not be.


If he destroy him from his place, Then it shall deny him, saying, I have not seen thee.


For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; And the place thereof shall know it no more.


Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: Yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.


When thou with rebukes dost correct man for iniquity, Thou makest his beauty to consume away like a moth: Surely every man is vanity. Selah.
