Kill them not, lest my people forget; make them totter by your power and bring them down, O Lord, our shield!


so that those who dwell at the ends of the earth are in awe at your signs. You make the going out of the morning and the evening to shout for joy.


God shall arise, his enemies shall be scattered; and those who hate him shall flee before him!


Rebuke the beasts that dwell among the reeds, the herd of bulls with the calves of the peoples. Trample underfoot those who lust after tribute; scatter the peoples who delight in war.


Among those who know me I mention Rahab and Babylon; behold, Philistia and Tyre, with Cush— “This one was born there,” they say.


Behold, the Lord will empty the earth and make it desolate, and he will twist its surface and scatter its inhabitants.


Or has any god ever attempted to go and take a nation for himself from the midst of another nation, by trials, by signs, by wonders, and by war, by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, and by great deeds of terror, all of which the Lord your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?
