In his days shall justice spring up, and abundance of peace, till the moon be taken sway.


AND there shall come forth a rod out of the root of Jesse: and a flower shall rise up out of his root.


And the Lord said: As my servant Isaias hath walked, naked and barefoot, it shall be a sign and a wonder of three years upon Egypt, and upon Ethiopia,


In that day the bud of the Lord shall be in magnificence and glory: and the fruit of the earth shall be high, and a great joy to them that shall have escaped of Israel.


BEHOLD my servant: I will uphold him. My elect: my soul delighteth in him. I have given my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.


And he said to me: Thou art my servant Israel, for in thee will I glory.


And now saith the Lord, that formed me from the womb to be his servant, that I may bring back Jacob unto him. And Israel will not be gathered together: And I am glorified in the eyes of the Lord: and my God is made my strength.


Behold, my servant shall understand: he shall be exalted and extolled, and shall be exceeding high.


Because his soul hath laboured, he shall see and be filled. By his knowledge shall this my just servant justify many: and he shall bear their iniquities.


And he shall grow up as a tender plant before him, and as a root out of a thirsty ground. There is no beauty in him, nor comeliness: and we have seen him, and there was no sightliness, that we should be desirous of him:


Behold, I and my children, whom the Lord hath given me for a sign, and for a wonder in Israel from the Lord of hosts, who dwelleth in mount Sion.


Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, and I will raise up to David a just branch. And a king shall reign, and shall be wise, and shall execute judgement and justice in the earth.


In those days and at that time, I will make the bud of justice to spring forth unto David and he shall do judgment and justice in the earth.


Say: I am a sign of things to come to you. As I have done, so shall it be done to them. They shall be removed from their dwellings and go into captivity.


In their sight thou shalt be carried out upon men's shoulders: thou shalt be carried out in the dark. Thou shalt cover thy face and shalt not see the ground: for I have set thee for a sign of things to come to the house of Israel.


And Ezechiel shall be unto you for a sign of things to come: according to all that he hath done, so shall you do, when this shall come to pass. And you shall know that I am the Lord God.


And I will raise up for them a bud of renown: and they shall be no more consumed with famine in the land, neither shall they bear any more the reproach of the Gentiles.


And my servant David shall be king over them, and they shall have one shepherd: they shall walk in my judgments, and shall keep my commandments, and shall do them.


And thou shalt speak to him, saying: Thus saith the Lord of hosts, saying: BEHOLD A MAN, THE ORIENT IS HIS NAME: and under him shall he spring up, and shall build a temple to the Lord.


Through the bowels of the mercy of our God, in which the Orient from on high hath visited us:
