Psalm 40:6
19 交叉引用

Then he openeth the ears of men, and teaching instructeth them in what they are to learn.

Who doth great things and unsearchable and wonderful things without number.

For behold thou hast loved truth: the uncertain and hidden things of thy wisdom thou hast made manifest to me.

And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Arabia, for him they shall always adore: they shall bless him all the day.

His master shall bring him to the gods, and he shall be set to the door and the posts, and he shall bore his ear through with an awl. And he shall be his servant for ever.

To what purpose do you offer me the multitude of your victims, saith the Lord? I am full, I desire not holocausts of rams, and fat of fatlings, and blood of calves, and lambs, and buck goats.

O Lord, thou art my God. I will exalt thee, and give glory to thy name: for thou hast done wonderful things, thy designs of old, faithful. Amen.

He that sacrificeth an ox is as if he slew a man: he that killeth a sheep in sacrifice, as if he should brain a dog: he that offereth an oblation, as if he should offer swine's blood; he that remembereth incense, as if he should bless an idol. All these things have they chosen in their ways: and their soul is delighted in their abominations.

For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice: and the knowledge of God more than holocausts.

And if you offer me holocausts, and your gifts, I will not receive them: neither will I regard the vows of your fat beasts.

And if you knew what this meaneth: I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: you would never have condemned the innocent.

Go then and learn what this meaneth, I will have mercy and not sacrifice. For I am not come to call the just, but sinners.

And Samuel said: Doth the Lord desire holocausts and victims, and not rather that the voice of the Lord should be obeyed? For obedience is better than sacrifices; and to hearken rather than to offer the fat of rams.
