Psalm 39:6
31 交叉引用

Man, born of a woman, living for a short time, is filled with many miseries.

I have done with hope. I shall now live no longer: spare me, for my days are nothing.

Remember that my life is but wind: and my eyes shall not return to see good things.

For thou shalt eat the labours of thy hands: blessed art thou, and it shall be well with thee.

Generation and generation shall praise thy works: and they shall declare thy power.

The good man leaveth heirs, sons, and grandsons: and the substance of the sinner is kept for the just.

Lift not up thy eyes to riches which thou canst not have: because they shall make themselves wings like those of an eagle, and shall fly towards heaven.

For thou shalt not always have power: but a crown shall be given to generation and generation.

I have seen all things that are done under the sun, and behold all is vanity, and vexation of spirit.

Remove anger from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh. For youth and pleasure are vain.

Let us all hear together the conclusion of the discourse. Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is all man:

Vanity of vanities, said Ecclesiastes, and all things are vanity.

God hath given to a man that is good in his sight, wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he hath given vexation, and superfluous care, to heap up and to gather together, and to give it to him that hath pleased God: but this also is vanity, and a fruitless solicitude of the mind.

I heaped together for myself silver and gold, and the wealth of kings, and provinces: I made me singing men, and singing women, and the delights of the sons of men, cups and vessels to serve to pour out wine:

As he came forth naked from his mother's womb, so shall he return, and shall take nothing away with him of his labour.

Why do you spend money for that which is not bread and your labour for that which doth not satisfy you? Hearken diligently to me and eat that which is good: and your soul shall be delighted in fatness.

If then ye be not able to do so much as the least thing, why are you solicitous for the rest?

And seek not you what you shall eat, or what you shall drink: and be not lifted up on high.

And they that use this world, as if they used it not: for the fashion of this world passeth away.

Whereas you know not what shall be on the morrow.

Your gold and silver is cankered: and the rust of them shall be for a testimony against you, and shall eat your flesh like fire. You have stored up to yourselves wrath against the last days.

For all flesh is as grass; and all the glory thereof as the flower of grass. The grass is withered, and the flower thereof is fallen away.

Casting all your care upon him, for he hath care of you.
