Psalm 38:1
11 交叉引用

Unto the end, in verses, a psalm for David, for the octave.

A psalm for David. Of the sons of Jonadab, and the former captives. In thee, O Lord, I have hoped, let me never be put to confusion:

For who in the clouds can be compared to the Lord: or who among the sons of God shall be like to God?

In measure against measure, when it shall be cast off, thou shalt judge it. He hath meditated with his severe spirit in the day of heat.

In a moment of indignation have I hid my face a little while from thee: but with everlasting kindness have I had mercy on thee, said the Lord thy Redeemer.

Correct me, O Lord, but yet with judgement: and not in fury, lest thou bring me to nothing.

For I am with thee, saith the Lord, to save thee: for I will utterly consume all the nations among which I have scattered thee. But I will not utterly consume thee: but I will chastise thee in judgment, that thou mayst not seem to thyself innocent.

O Lord, I have heard thy hearing, and was afraid. O Lord, thy work, in the midst of the years bring it to life: In the midst of the years thou shalt make it known: when thou art angry, thou wilt remember mercy.

For I feared his indignation and anger, wherewith being moved against you he would have destroyed you. And the Lord heard me this time also.
