The bread of lying is sweet to a man: but afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel.


Such is also the way of an adulterous woman, who eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith: I have done no evil.


Let thy fountains be conveyed abroad, and in the streets divide thy waters.


Let thy vein be blessed, and rejoice with the wife of thy youth:


But sin taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.


For the things that are done by them in secret, it is a shame even to speak of.
