And so the woman saw that the tree was good to eat, and beautiful to the eyes, and delightful to consider. And she took from its fruit, and she ate. And she gave to her husband, who ate.


The bread of lies is sweet to a man. But afterwards, his mouth will be filled with pebbles.


Such is the way also of an adulterous woman, who eats, and wiping her mouth, says: "I have done no evil."


Let your fountains be diverted far and wide, and divide your waters in the streets.


Let your spring be blessed, and rejoice with the wife of your youth:


But sin, receiving an opportunity through the commandment, wrought in me all manner of coveting. For apart from the law, sin was dead.


For the things that are done by them in secret are shameful, even to mention.
