It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the goodman of the house Beelzebub, how much more them of his household?


And as he was yet speaking, behold a bright cloud overshadowed them. And lo, a voice out of the cloud, saying: This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased: hear ye him.


Neither be ye called masters; for one is you master, Christ.


And salutations in the market place, and to be called by men, Rabbi.


And Judas that betrayed him, answering, said: Is it I, Rabbi? He saith to him: Thou hast said it.


And forthwith coming to Jesus, he said: Hail, Rabbi. And he kissed him.


And Jesus answering, said to him: What wilt thou that I should do to thee? And the blind man said to him: Rabboni, that I may see.


And Peter remembering, said to him: Rabbi, behold the fig tree, which thou didst curse, is withered away.


And when he was come, immediately going up to him, he saith: Hail, Rabbi; and he kissed him.


For he knew not what he said: for they were struck with fear.


But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and thou, being once converted, confirm thy brethren.


And Jesus turning, and seeing them following him, saith to them: What seek you? Who said to him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou?


Nathanael answered him, and said: Rabbi, thou art the Son of God, thou art the King of Israel.


The disciples say to him: Rabbi, the Jews but now sought to stone thee: and goest thou thither again?


Jesus saith to her: Mary. She turning, saith to him: Rabboni (which is to say, Master).


This man came to Jesus by night, and said to him: Rabbi, we know that thou art come a teacher from God; for no man can do these signs which thou dost, unless God be with him.


And they came to John, and said to him: Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond the Jordan, to whom thou gavest testimony, behold he baptizeth, and all men come to him.


In the mean time the disciples prayed him, saying: Rabbi, eat.


And when they had found him on the other side of the sea, they said to him: Rabbi, when camest thou hither?


And his disciples asked him: Rabbi, who hath sinned, this man, or his parents, that he should be born blind?


For we preach not ourselves, but Jesus Christ our Lord; and ourselves your servants through Jesus.


Of whom all paternity in heaven and earth is named,


Not now as a servant, but instead of a servant, a most dear brother, especially to me: but how much more to thee both in the flesh and in the Lord?


Be ye not many masters, my brethren, knowing that you receive the greater judgment.


Neither as lording it over the clergy, but being made a pattern of the flock from the heart.


I John, your brother and your partner in tribulation, and in the kingdom, and patience in Christ Jesus, was in the island, which is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus.


And I fell down before his feet, to adore him. And he saith to me: See thou do it not: I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren, who have the testimony of Jesus. Adore God. For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.


And he said to me: See thou do it not: for I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them that keep the words of the prophecy of this book. Adore God.
