Light is risen to the just, and joy to the right of heart.


For you shall go out with joy and be led forth with peace. The mountains and the hills shall sing praise before ye: and all the trees of the country shall clap their hands.


For the stone shall cry out of the wall: and the timber that is between the joints of the building, shall answer.


Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over the whole earth, until the ninth hour.


And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham for our father. For I tell you that God is able of these stones to raise up children to Abraham.


And when he drew near, seeing the city, he wept over it, saying:


And reducing the cities of the Sodomites, and of the Gomorrhites, into ashes, condemned them to be overthrown, making them an example to those that should after act wickedly.
