And I will give to thee, and to thy seed, the land of thy sojournment, all the land of Chanaan for a perpetual possession: and I will be their God.


For they are thy people, and thy inheritance, whom thou hast brought out of the land of Egypt, from the midst of the furnace of iron:


And he stuck to the Lord, and departed not from his steps: but kept his commandments, which the Lord commanded Moses.


And shewing mercy unto thousands to them that love me, and keep my commandments.


The burden of the beasts of the south. In a land of trouble and distress, from whence come the lioness and the lion, the viper and the flying basilisk, they carry their riches upon the shoulders of beasts and their treasures upon the bunches of camels, to a people that shall not be able to profit them.


Behold, I have refined thee, but not as silver: I have chosen thee in the furnace of poverty.


For protesting I conjured your fathers in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt even to this day: rising early, I conjured them, and said: Hearken ye to my voice.


And I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord. And they shall be my people, and I will be their God: because they shall return to me with their whole heart.


Now therefore amend your ways and your doings, and hearken to the voice of the Lord your God: and the Lord will repent him of the evil that he hath spoken against you.


And you shall be my people: and I will be your God.


Therefore thus saith the Lord: Behold, I will deliver this city into the hands of the Chaldeans and into the hands of the king of Babylon, and they shall take it.


But Jeremias answered: They shall not deliver thee. Hearken, I beseech thee, to the word of the Lord which I speak to thee, and it shall be well with thee and thy soul shall live.


That they may walk in my commandments and keep my judgments and do them: and that they may be my people and I may be their God.


That the house of Israel may go no more astray from me, nor be polluted with all their transgressions: but may be my people and I may be their God, saith the Lord of hosts.


And you shall dwell in the land which I gave to your fathers, and you shall be my people, and I will be your God.


Nor shall they be defiled any more with their idols, nor with their abominations, nor with all their iniquities: and I will save them out of all the places in which they have sinned, and I will cleanse them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.


And my tabernacle shall be with them: and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.


I will walk among you, and will be your God: and you shall be my people.


If you walk in my precepts, and keep my commandments, and do them, I will give you rain in due seasons.


And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined: and I will try them as gold is tried. They shall call on my name, and I will hear them. I will say: Thou art my people: and they shall say: The Lord is my God.


And they that are far off, shall come and shall build in the temple of the Lord: and you shall know that the Lord of hosts sent me to you. But this shall come to pass, if hearing you will hear the voice of the Lord your God.


And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God in truth and in justice.


Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world.


And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God; as God saith: I will dwell in them, and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.


A blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day.


But the Lord hath taken you and brought you out of the iron furnace of Egypt, to make you his people of inheritance, as it is this present day.


I am the Lord thy God, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.


And being consummated, he became, to all that obey him, the cause of eternal salvation.


And Samuel said: Doth the Lord desire holocausts and victims, and not rather that the voice of the Lord should be obeyed? For obedience is better than sacrifices; and to hearken rather than to offer the fat of rams.
