But he that discerneth, if he eat, is condemned; because not of faith. For all that is not of faith is sin.


For we account a man to be justified by faith, without the works of the law.


As David also termeth the blessedness of a man, to whom God reputeth justice without works:


THERE is now therefore no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh.


Thou wilt say therefore to me: Why doth he then find fault? for who resisteth his will?


And if I should have prophecy and should know all mysteries, and all knowledge, and if I should have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.


If then any be in Christ a new creature, the old things are passed away, behold all things are made new.


Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of the flesh and of the spirit, perfecting sanctification in the fear of God.


For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision: but faith that worketh by charity.


Now the end of the commandment is charity, from a pure heart, and a good conscience, and an unfeigned faith.


In all things shew thyself an example of good works, in doctrine, in integrity, in gravity,


By faith Rahab the harlot perished not with the unbelievers, receiving the spies with peace.


Who by faith conquered kingdoms, wrought justice, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,


But without faith it is impossible to please God. For he that cometh to God, must believe that he is, and is a rewarder to them that seek him.


What shall it profit, my brethren, if a man say he hath faith, but hath not works? Shall faith be able to save him?


Who is a wise man, and endued with knowledge among you? Let him shew, by a good conversation, his work in the meekness of wisdom.
