Isaiah 5:18
23 交叉引用

A psalm of David. Lord, who shall dwell in thy tabernacle? or who shall rest in thy holy hill?

For they shall shortly wither away as grass, and as the green herbs shall quickly fall.

They eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of iniquity.

For you have said: We have entered into a league with death, and we have made a covenant with hell. When the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come upon us: for we have placed our hope in lies, and by falsehood we are protected.

Because the land is full of adulterers, because the land hath mourned by reason of cursing. The fields of the desert are dried up, and their course is become evil, and their strength unlike.

And I have seen the likeness of adulterers and the way of lying in the prophets of Jerusalem: and they strengthened the hand of the wicked, that no man should return from his evil doings. That are all become unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrha.

Shall a man be hid in secret places and I not see him, saith the Lord? Do not I fill heaven and earth, saith the Lord?

And when Judi had read three or four pages, he cut it with the penknife: and he cast it into the fire, that was upon the hearth, till all the volume was consumed with the fire that was on the hearth.

The prophets prophesied falsehood, and the priests clapped their hands: and my people loved such things. What then shall be done in the end thereof?

Because with lies you have made the heart of the just to mourn, whom I have not made sorrowful: and have strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his evil way and live.

And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with lamps, and will visit upon the men that are settled on their lees: that say in their hearts: The Lord will not do good, nor will he do evil.

They will put you out of the synagogues: yea, the hour cometh, that whosoever killeth you, will think that he doth a service to God.

And I indeed did formerly think, that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.

Now I know God will do me good, since I have a priest of the race of the Levites.

And he separated also therein a little temple for the god, and made an ephod, and theraphim, that is to say, a priestly garment, and idols. And he filled the hand of one of his sons, and he became his priest.
