And she gave the king a hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices a very great store, and precious stones. There was brought no more such abundance of spices as these which the queen of Saba gave to king Solomon.


Besides that which the men brought him that were over the tributes, and the merchants, and they that sold by retail, and all the kings of Arabia, and the governors of the country.


And entering into Jerusalem with a great train, and riches, and camels that carried spices, and an immense quantity of gold, and precious stones, she came to king Solomon, and spoke to him all that she had in her heart.


And every one brought him presents: vessels of silver and of gold, garments and armour, and spices, and horses and mules every year.


And Ezechias rejoiced at their coming: and he showed them the house of his aromatical spices, and the gold and the silver, and divers precious odours, and ointments, and the house of his vessels, and all that he had in his treasures. There was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominions that Ezechias shewed them not.


But he did not render again according to the benefits which he had received, for his heart was lifted up: and wrath was enkindled against him, and against Juda and Jerusalem.


And Ezechias was rich, and very glorious; and he gathered himself great treasures of silver and of gold, and of precious stones, of spices, and of arms of all kinds, and of vessels of great price.


But yet in the embassy of the princes of Babylon, that were sent to him, to inquire of the wonder that had happened upon the earth, God left him that he might be tempted, and all things might be made known that were in his heart.


And when the queen of Saba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to try him with hard questions at Jerusalem, with great riches, and camels, which carried spices, and abundance of gold, and precious stones. And when she was come to Solomon, she proposed to him all that was in her heart.


And she gave to the king a hundred and twenty talents of gold, and spices in great abundance, and most precious stones. There were no such spices as these which the queen of Saba gave to king Solomon.


If I have rejoiced over my great riches, and because my hand had gotten much:


With all watchfulness keep thy heart, because life issueth out from it.


Wisdom hath strengthened the wise more than ten princes of the city.


The heart is perverse above all things and unsearchable. Who can know it?


And lest the greatness of the revelations should exalt me, there was given me a sting of my flesh, an angel of Satan, to buffet me.


If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
