Genesis 38:9
11 交叉引用

And therefore the Lord slew him, because he did a detestable thing.

Anger indeed killeth the foolish: and envy slayeth the little one.

Anger hath no mercy, nor fury when it breaketh forth: and who can bear the violence of one provoked?

When brethren dwell together, and one of them dieth without children, the wife of the deceased shall not marry to another: but his brother shall take her, and raise up seed for his brother.

But if you have bitter zeal, and there be contentions in your hearts; glory not, and be not liars against the truth.

For where envying and contention is, there is inconstancy, and every evil work.

Or do you think that the scripture saith in vain: To envy doth the spirit covet which dwelleth in you?

But she answered them: Return, my daughters. Why come ye with me? Have I any more sons in my womb, that you may hope for husbands of me?

And have taken to wife Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahalon, to raise up the name of the deceased in his inheritance lest his name be cut off, from among his family and his brethren and his people. You, I say, are witnesses of this thing.
