And when the Madianite merchants passed by, they drew him out of the pit, and sold him to the Ismaelites, for twenty pieces of silver: and they led him into Egypt.


He sent them to the prison of the commander of the soldiers, in which Joseph also was prisoner,


But the keeper of the prison delivered them to Joseph, and he served them. Some little time passed, and they were kept in custody.


There was there a young man, a Hebrew, servant to the same captain of the soldiers: to whom we told our dreams.


In the fifth month, the seventh day of the month, that is, the nineteenth year of the king of Babylon, came Nabuzardan commander of the army, a servant of the king of Babylon, into Jerusalem.


The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan: and covered the congregation of Abiron.


And let not the son of the stranger, that adhereth to the Lord, speak, saying: The Lord will divide and separate me from his people. And let not the eunuch say: Behold, I am a dry tree.


And Nabuzardan the general of the army carried away captive to Babylon the remnant of the people that remained in the city, and the fugitives that had gone over to him, and the rest of the people that remained.
