Genesis 24:49
6 交叉引用

I am not worthy of the least of all thy mercies, and of thy truth which thou hast fulfilled to thy servant. With my staff I passed over this Jordan; and now I return with two companies.

And when he saw that the day of his death drew nigh, he called his son Joseph, and said to him: If I have found favour in thy sight, put thy hand under my thigh, and thou shalt shew me this kindness and truth, not to bury me in Egypt.

Let not mercy and truth leave thee, put them about thy neck, and write them in the tables of thy heart:

And we beseech thee that we may have leave to pass through thy country. We will not go through the fields, nor through the vineyards: we will not drink the waters of thy wells: but we will go by the common highway, neither turning aside to the right hand, nor to the left, till we are past thy borders.

We will pass through thy land: we will go along by the highway: we will not turn aside neither to the right hand nor to the left.

They answered her: Be our lives for you unto death, only if thou betray us not. And when the Lord shall have delivered us the land, we will shew thee mercy and truth.
