He hath made a remembrance of his wonderful works, being a merciful and gracious Lord:


But I am appointed king by him over Sion his holy mountain, preaching his commandment.


Go therefore, and I will be in thy mouth: and I will teach thee what thou shalt speak.


Speak to him, and put my words in his mouth: and I will be in thy mouth, and in his mouth, and will shew you what you must do.


The Lord hath given me a learned tongue, that I should know how to uphold by word him that is weary. He wakeneth in the morning: in the morning he wakeneth my ear, that I may hear him as a master.


I have put my words in thy mouth and have protected thee in the shadow of my hand, that thou mightest plant the heavens and found the earth and mightest say to Sion: Thou art my people.


Hearken unto me, O my people, and give ear to me, O my tribes: for a law shall go forth from me, and my judgment shall rest to be a light of the nations.


And the Lord put forth his hand and touched my mouth. And the Lord said to me: Behold, I have given my words in thy mouth:


Ephraim hath provoked me to wrath with his bitterness, and his blood shall come upon him, and his Lord will render his reproach unto him.


And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazarites. Is it not so, O ye children of Israel, saith the Lord?


Behold I send my angel, and he shall prepare the way before my face. And presently the Lord, whom you seek, and the angel of the testament, whom you desire, shall come to his temple. Behold he cometh, saith the Lord of hosts.


And Moses cried to the Lord, saying: O God, I beseech thee heal her.


And when the Lord had met him, and had put the word in his mouth, he said: Return to Balac, and thus shalt thou say to him.


And the Lord put the word in his mouth, and said: Return to Balac, and thus shalt thou speak.


To whom he said: What things? And they said: Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a prophet, mighty in work and word before God and all the people;


And they asked him: What then? Art thou Elias? And he said: I am not. Art thou the prophet? And he answered: No.


And they asked him, and said to him: Why then dost thou baptize, if thou be not Christ, nor Elias, nor the prophet?


Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith to him: We have found him of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets did write, Jesus the son of Joseph of Nazareth.


He that despiseth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him; the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.


I will not now call you servants: for the servant knoweth not what his lord doth. But I have called you friends: because all things whatsoever I have heard of my Father, I have made known to you.


As thou hast sent me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.


Because the words which thou gavest me, I have given to them; and they have received them, and have known in very deed that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.


The woman saith to him: I know that the Messias cometh (who is called Christ); therefore, when he is come, he will tell us all things.


Jesus therefore said to them: When you shall have lifted up the Son of man, then shall you know, that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself, but as the Father hath taught me, these things I speak:


For Moses said: A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me: him you shall hear according to all things whatsoever he shall speak to you.


This is that Moses who said to the children of Israel: A prophet shall God raise up to you of your own brethren, as myself: him shall you hear.


The Lord thy God will raise up to thee a PROPHET of thy nation and of thy brethren like unto me. Him thou shalt hear.


He shall be king with the most right: the princes of the people being assembled with the tribes of Israel.


And there arose no more a prophet in Israel like unto Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face:


I was the mediator and stood between the Lord and you at that time, to shew you his words. For you feared the fire, and went not up into the mountain. And he said:


For there is one God, and one mediator of God and men, the man Christ Jesus:


By so much is Jesus made a surety of a better testament.
