Amos 5:22
19 交叉引用

My enemies have spoken evils against me: when shall he die and his name perish?

The victims of the wicked are abominable to the Lord: the vows of the just are acceptable.

The sacrifices of the wicked are abominable, because they are offered of wickedness.

To what purpose do you offer me the multitude of your victims, saith the Lord? I am full, I desire not holocausts of rams, and fat of fatlings, and blood of calves, and lambs, and buck goats.

He that sacrificeth an ox is as if he slew a man: he that killeth a sheep in sacrifice, as if he should brain a dog: he that offereth an oblation, as if he should offer swine's blood; he that remembereth incense, as if he should bless an idol. All these things have they chosen in their ways: and their soul is delighted in their abominations.

Thus saith the Lord to his people that have loved to move their feet and have not rested and have not pleased the Lord: He will now remember their iniquities and visit their sins.

To what purpose do you bring me frankincense from Saba, and the sweet smelling cane from a far country? Your holocausts are not acceptable, nor are your sacrifices pleasing to me.

Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Add your burnt-offerings to your sacrifices and eat ye the flesh.

This is the law of the sacrifice of peace-offerings that is offered to the Lord.

Take away from me the tumult of thy songs: and I will not hear the canticles of thy harp.

And now beseech ye the face of God, that he may have mercy on you, (for by your hand hath this been done,) if by any means he will receive your faces, saith the Lord of hosts.

And Samuel said: Doth the Lord desire holocausts and victims, and not rather that the voice of the Lord should be obeyed? For obedience is better than sacrifices; and to hearken rather than to offer the fat of rams.
