Let them alone: they are blind, and leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both will fall into the pit.


And answering Jesus, they said: We know not. He also said to them: Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.


And it came to pass, that, after three days, they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, hearing them, and asking them questions.


AND some coming down from Judea, taught the brethren: That except you be circumcised after the manner of Moses, you cannot be saved.


For professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.


This only would I learn of you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?


He therefore who giveth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you; doth he do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of the faith?


Tell me, you that desire to be under the law, have you not read the law?


He is proud, knowing nothing, but sick about questions and strifes of words; from which arise envies, contentions, blasphemies, evil suspicions,


Ever learning, and never attaining to the knowledge of the truth.


Be ye not many masters, my brethren, knowing that you receive the greater judgment.


But these men, as irrational beasts, naturally tending to the snare and to destruction, blaspheming those things which they know not, shall perish in their corruption,
