1 Samuel 18:1
17 交叉引用

Therefore if I shall go to thy servant our father, and the boy be wanting (whereas his life dependeth upon the life of him):

I grieve for thee, my brother Jonathan: exceeding beautiful, and amiable to me above the love of women. As the mother loveth her only son, so did I love thee.

And David went out to meet them, and said: If you are come peaceably to me to help me, let my heart be joined to you. But if you plot against me for my enemies whereas I have no iniquity in my hands, let the God of our fathers see, and judge.

A man amiable in society, shall be more friendly than a brother.

If thy brother the son of thy mother, or thy son, or daughter, or thy wife that is in thy bosom, or thy friend, whom thou lovest as thy own soul, would persuade thee secretly, saying: Let us go, and serve strange gods, which thou knowest not, nor thy fathers,

That their hearts may be comforted, being instructed in charity, and unto all riches of fulness of understanding, unto the knowledge of the mystery of God the Father and of Christ Jesus:

And all Israel were gathered together against the city, as one man, with one mind, and one counsel.

And the people said to Saul: Shall Jonathan then die, who hath wrought this great salvation in Israel? This must not be. As the Lord liveth, there shall not one hair of his head fall to the ground: for he hath wrought with God this day. So the people delivered Jonathan, that he should not die.

And David and Jonathan made a covenant: for he loved him as his own soul.

And Saul spoke to Jonathan his son and to all his servants, that they should kill David. But Jonathan the son of Saul loved David exceedingly.

And Jonathan told David, saying: Saul my father seeketh to kill thee. Wherefore look to thyself, I beseech thee, in the morning; and thou shalt abide in a secret place and shalt be hid.

And Jonathan swore again to David, because he loved him: for he loved him as his own soul.

Deal mercifully then with thy servant: for thou hast brought me thy servant into a covenant of the Lord with thee. But if there be any iniquity in me, do thou kill me, and bring me not in to thy father.

That all of you have conspired against me, and there is no one to inform me, especially when even my son hath entered into league with the son of Isai? There is not one of you that pitieth my case, nor that giveth me any information: because my son hath raised up my servant against me, plotting against me to this day.

And the two made a covenant before the Lord. And David abode in the wood: but Jonathan returned to his house.
