The riches that he devours, he will vomit up, and from his stomach God will draw them out.


He will be repaid for all he has done, yet he will not be consumed; according to the multitude of his schemes, so also will he suffer.


From the rising of the sun, even to its setting, praiseworthy is the name of the Lord.


He will receive a blessing from the Lord, and mercy from God, his Saviour.


The blessing of the Lord causes riches. Affliction will not be a companion to them.


The crown of the wise is their wealth. The senselessness of the foolish is imprudence.


The house of the just has very great strength. And in the fruits of the impious, there is disorder.


The end of moderation is the fear of the Lord, riches and glory and life.


so that I may enrich those who love me, and thus complete their treasures.


While laughing, they make bread and wine, so that the living may feast. And all things are obedient to money.


And then he will not fully remember the days of his life, because God occupies his heart with delights.


You should not say: "What do you think is the reason that the former times were better than they are now?" For this type of question is foolish.


But ten men were found among them, who said to Ishmael: "Do not kill us! For in the field we have storehouses of grain and barley and oil and honey." And so he ceased, and he did not put them to death with their brothers.


But the foolish ones said to the wise, 'Give to us from your oil, for our lamps are being extinguished.'


And after he had consumed it all, a great famine occurred in that region, and he began to be in need.


And he also said to his disciples: "A certain man was wealthy, and he had a steward of his estate. And this man was accused to him of having dissipated his goods.


A good man, from the good storehouse of his heart, offers what is good. And an evil man, from the evil storehouse, offers what is evil. For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.
