While he was still speaking to the crowds, behold, his mother and his brothers were standing outside, seeking to speak with him.


But he, rising early on the first Sabbath, appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons.


And a sword will pass through your own soul, so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed."


Now all those who knew him, and the women who had followed him from Galilee, were standing at a distance, watching these things.


And one of them, whose name was Cleopas, responded by saying to him, "Are you the only one visiting Jerusalem who does not know the things that have happened there in these days?"


along with certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities: Mary, who is called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had departed,


Then on the first Sabbath, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and she saw that the stone had been rolled away from the tomb.
