And there I will pasture you, (for there are still five years of famine remaining) lest both you and your house perish, along with all that you possess.'


Do not be afraid, and let it not seem to you to be a hardship that you sold me into these regions. For God sent me before you into Egypt for your salvation.


And God sent me ahead, so that you may be preserved upon the earth, and so that you would be able to have food in order to live.


And he fed them, along with all his father's house, providing portions of food to each one.


And Jacob blessed the sons of Joseph, and he said: "God, in whose sight my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked, God who pastured me from my youth until the present day,


But those who held darts, provoked him, and they contend with him, and they envied him.


Do not be afraid. I will pasture you and your little ones." And he consoled them, and he spoke mildly and leniently.


Moreover, yesterday and the day before, when Saul was king over us, you were the one leading out and leading back Israel. Then the Lord said to you, 'You shall pasture my people Israel, and you shall be the leader over Israel.' "


he said to the king of Israel, "Place your hand upon the bow." And when he had placed his hand, Elisha place his own hands over the hands of the king.


For all these men wished to frighten us, thinking that our hands would cease from the work, and that we would cease. For this reason, I strengthened my hands all the more.


My glory will always be restored, and my bow will be restored to my hand."

And those who had gone astray in spirit will know understanding, and those who had murmured will learn the law.


Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not turn away, for I am your God. I have strengthened you, and I have assisted you, and the right hand of my just one has upheld you.


And I will feed your enemies their own flesh. And they will be inebriated with their own blood, as with new wine. And all flesh will know that I am the Lord, who saves you, and your Redeemer, the Strong One of Jacob.


And you will drink the milk of the Gentiles, and you will be nursed at the breasts of kings, and you will know that I am the Lord, your Saviour and your Redeemer, the Strong One of Jacob.


I will strengthen them in the Lord, and they will walk in his name, says the Lord.


For behold, the stone that I have bestowed before Jesus. Upon one stone, there are seven eyes. Behold, I will carve its engraving, says the Lord of hosts. And I will take away the iniquity of that land in one day.


Jesus said to them: "Have you never read in the Scriptures: 'The stone that the builders have rejected has become the cornerstone. By the Lord has this been done, and it is wonderful in our eyes?'

He is the stone, which was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.


Who are you to judge the servant of another? He stands or falls by his own Lord. But he shall stand. For God is able to make him stand.


having been built upon the foundation of the Apostles and of the Prophets, with Jesus Christ himself as the preeminent cornerstone.


The works of God are perfect, and all his ways are judgments. God is faithful and without any iniquity. He is just and upright.


His habitation is above, and the everlasting arms are below. He shall cast out the enemy before your face, and he shall say: 'Be utterly broken!'


Truly, Joshua, the son of Nun, was filled with the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands upon him. And the sons of Israel were obedient to him, and they did as the Lord instructed Moses.

The house of Joseph also ascended against Bethel, and the Lord was with them.
