who lends upon usury, and who takes an increase, then shall he live? He shall not live. Since he has done all these detestable things, he shall certainly die. His blood shall be upon him.


then, having heard the sound of the trumpet, whoever he is, if he also does not take care of himself, and the sword arrives and takes him: his blood will be upon his own head.


And if the watchman sees the sword approaching, and he does not sound the trumpet, and so the people do not guard themselves, and the sword arrives and takes some of their lives, certainly these have been taken due to their own iniquity. But they, shaking the dust from their feet against them, went on to Iconium.


And in every synagogue, frequently while punishing them, I compelled them to blaspheme. And being all the more maddened against them, I persecuted them, even to foreign cities.


But I preached, first to those who are at Damascus and at Jerusalem, and then to the entire region of Judea, and to the Gentiles, so that they would repent and convert to God, doing the works that are worthy of repentance.


Therefore, let it be known to you, that this salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles, and they shall listen to it."


Is God of the Jews only and not also of the Gentiles? On the contrary, of the Gentiles also.


You should not be quick to impose hands on anyone, nor should you take part in the sins of outsiders. Keep yourself chaste.


correcting with self-restraint those who resist the truth. For at any time God may give them repentance, so as to recognize the truth,


If you are reproached for the name of Christ, you will be blessed, because that which is of the honor, glory, and power of God, and that which is of his Spirit, rests upon you.


About this, they wonder why you do not rush with them into the same confusion of indulgences, blaspheming.
