While he was still speaking, Jonathan, the son of Abiathar the priest, arrived. And Adonijah said to him, "Enter, for you are a valiant man, and you report good news."


that the praise of the impious shall be short, and the joy of the hypocrite lasts only a moment.


Then Joshua, hearing the tumult of the people shouting, said to Moses: "The outcry of battle is heard in the camp."


Laughter shall be mingled with sorrow, and mourning occupies the limits of joy.


Then the leaders of the priests and the scribes became indignant, seeing the miracles that he wrought, and the children crying out in the temple, saying, "Hosanna to the Son of David!"


Then, as they were seeking to kill him, it was reported to the tribune of the cohort: "All Jerusalem is in confusion."
