To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, From the man that speaketh froward things;
Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? There is more hope of a fool than of him.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
and that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
