This same being delivered up, by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, you by the hands of wicked men have crucified and slain.
The God of our fathers hath raised up Jesus, whom you put to death, hanging him upon a tree.
Him, who knew no sin, he hath made sin for us, that we might be made the justice of God in him.
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written: Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
His body shall not remain upon the tree, but shall be buried the same day. For he is accursed of God that hangeth on a tree: and thou shalt not defile thy land, which the Lord thy God shall give thee in possession.
Who his own self bore our sins in his body upon the tree: that we, being dead to sins, should live to justice: by whose stripes you were healed.
