And having waited yet seven other days, he again sent forth the dove out of the ark.
And she came to him in the evening, carrying a bough of an olive tree with green leaves, in her mouth. Noe therefore understood that the waters were ceased upon the earth.
And they shall say in that day: Lo, this is our God: we have waited for him, and he will save us. This is the Lord: we have patiently waited for him, we shall rejoice and be joyful in his salvation.
And in the way of thy judgments, O Lord, we have patiently waited for thee: thy name, and thy remembrance are the desire of the soul.
Therefore the Lord waiteth that be may have mercy on you, and therefore shall he be exalted sparing you: because the Lord is the God of judgment. Blessed are all they that wait for him.
