And the men also that were with him. David brought up every man with his household: and they abode in the towns of Hebron.
And David arose and went away, both he and the six hundred men that were with him, to Achis the son of Maoch, king of Geth.
But David pursued, he and four hundred men: for two hundred stayed, who being weary could not go over the torrent Besor.
