And, hearing this, Jesus wondered. And he said to those following him: "Amen I say to you, I have not found so great a faith in Israel.
And they were all so amazed that they inquired among themselves, saying: "What is this? And what is this new doctrine? For with authority he commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him."
And immediately he got up, and lifting up his stretcher, he went away in the sight of them all, so that they all wondered. And they honored God, by saying, "We have never seen anything like this."
And rising up, he rebuked the wind, and he said to the sea: "Silence. Be stilled." And the wind ceased. And a great tranquility occurred.
And immediately the young girl rose up and walked. Now she was twelve years old. And they were suddenly struck with a great astonishment.
And so much more did they wonder, saying: "He has done all things well. He has caused both the deaf to hear and the mute to speak."
Therefore, they were willing to receive him into the boat. But immediately the boat was at the land to which they were going.
