And Abimelech responded, "I do not know who did this thing, but you also did not reveal it to me, nor have I heard of it, before today."
Come, therefore, let us enter into a pact, so that it may be a testimony between me and you."
The expectation of those who stand ready is a most pleasing jewel. Whichever way he turns himself, he understands prudently.
