In Jehovah do I take refuge: How say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain;
Consider and answer me, O Jehovah my God: Lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;
Jehovah is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; My God, my rock, in whom I will take refuge; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.
O my God, in thee have I trusted, Let me not be put to shame; Let not mine enemies triumph over me.
Judge me, O Jehovah, for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in Jehovah without wavering.
Arise, O Jehovah; save me, O my God: For thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; Thou hast broken the teeth of the wicked.

But Jehovah is with me as a mighty one and a terrible: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail; they shall be utterly put to shame, because they have not dealt wisely, even with an everlasting dishonor which shall never be forgotten.
