And God said, Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
Yea, he ladeth the thick cloud with moisture; He spreadeth abroad the cloud of his lightning:
Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment; Who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain;
Praise ye Jehovah. Praise God in his sanctuary: Praise him in the firmament of his power.
By the word of Jehovah were the heavens made, And all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth; and if a tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there shall it be.

But Jehovah is the true God; he is the living God, and an everlasting King: at his wrath the earth trembleth, and the nations are not able to abide his indignation.
He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and by his understanding hath he stretched out the heavens.

For this they wilfully forget, that there were heavens from of old, and an earth compacted out of water and amidst water, by the word of God;
