Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.


"Say to the daughter of Zion, 'Behold, your King is coming to you, humble, and sitting on a donkey, a colt, the foal of a donkey.' "


Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.


"Therefore, everyone who hears these words of Mine and does them, I will compare him to a wise man who built his house upon the rock:


I say this to your shame. So is there not among you a wise man, not even one, who will be able to judge between his brother and another?


Now I, Paul, myself appeal to you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, I who face to face am lowly among you, but when I am away am bold toward you.


Therefore show to them the proof of your love, and of our boasting concerning you, before the churches.


gentleness, self-control--against such things there is no law.


Brothers, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a person in a spirit of gentleness, looking out for yourself lest you also be tempted.


But let each person examine his own work, and then he will have boasting in himself alone, and not in the other.


with all humility and meekness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love,


Only conduct yourselves worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one soul striving together for the faith of the gospel,


Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on hearts of compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, patience;


Let no one despise your youth, but become a pattern for the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.


You however, O man of God, flee these things. But pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, gentleness.


in meekness instructing those that oppose, if God perhaps may give them repentance, to a full knowledge of the truth,


to slander no one, to be peaceable, gentle, demonstrating all meekness to all men.


Let your way of life be without loving money, being satisfied with what you have. For He Himself has said, "By no means shall I desert you, nor in any way shall I forsake you;"


Therefore laying aside all filthiness and abundance of evil, in meekness receive the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.


But someone will say, "You have faith, and I have works." Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by means of my works.


My brothers, let not many become teachers, knowing that we shall receive greater judgment.


But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.


but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all manner of life,


having your manner of life noble among the Gentiles, so that, whenever they speak against you as evildoers, when they observe the good works, they may glorify God in the day of visitation.


But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellent virtues of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;


rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible attitude of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious before God.
