17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.

Thus also you outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.


Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.


Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.


for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict nor to withstand.


Therefore be compassionate, just as your Father also is compassionate.


And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.


Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him, and said about him, "Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!"


for he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith. And a considerable crowd was added to the Lord.


Now in Joppa there was a certain disciple named Tabitha, which being translated is called Dorcas. This woman was full of good works and charitable giving which she was doing.


If possible, as much as depends on you, keeping peace with all men.


Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good.


Now I myself am confident concerning you, my brothers, that you yourselves are full of goodness, having been filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish others.


For to one is given a word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another a word of knowledge according to the same Spirit,


Now I, Paul, myself appeal to you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, I who face to face am lowly among you, but when I am away am bold toward you.


in purity, in knowledge, in longsuffering, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in sincere love,


For behold this very thing, that you sorrowed in a godly manner, how much diligence it produced in you, even an eagerness to defend, even indignation, even fear, even longing, even zeal, even vengeance! In all things you demonstrated yourselves to be pure in this matter.


Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness;


for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth,


having been filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.


Finally, brothers, as many things as are true, as many as are honorable, as many as are just, as many as are pure, as many as are lovely--if there is any virtue and if there is any praise--meditate on these things.


that you should walk worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit and increasing in the full knowledge of God;


But we proved to be gentle in your midst, as a nursing mother cherishes her own children.


I charge you before God and the Lord Jesus Christ and the elect angels that you observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing according to partiality.


And a servant of the Lord ought not to fight, but to be gentle to all, skillful at teaching, forbearing,


All things indeed are pure to the pure; but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience have been defiled.


to slander no one, to be peaceable, gentle, demonstrating all meekness to all men.


Now no discipline seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, later it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those having been trained by it.


Pursue peace and holiness with all people, without which no one shall see the Lord:


Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.


If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it shall be given to him.


For judgment is without mercy to the one who does not show mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.


and so did you not differentiate among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?


This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic.


Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.


Since you have purified your souls by obedience to the truth through the Spirit in sincere love for the brothers, love one another fervently from a pure heart,


Therefore having put away all malice, all guile, hypocrisy, envy, and all slanders,


Servants, subject yourselves to your masters with all fear, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the crooked.


My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.


And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
