And the king said to the man of God: Entreat the face of the Lord thy God, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored to me. And the man of God besought the face of the Lord: and the king's hand was restored to him; and it became as it was before.


But now forgive me my sin this time also: and pray to the Lord your God, that he take away from me this death.


And Pharao called Moses and Aaron, and said to them: Go sacrifice to the Lord. Let your sheep only, and herds remain; let your children go with you.


And they called back Moses and Aaron to Pharao. And he said to them: Go, sacrifice to the Lord your God. Who are they that shall go?


And the Lord said to Moses: Yet one plague more will I bring upon Pharao and Egypt; and after that he shall let you go, and thrust you out.


And Pharao called Moses and Aaron, and said to them: Go, and sacrifice to your God in this land.


And Pharao said: I will let you go to sacrifice to the Lord your God in the wilderness. But go no farther: pray for me.


And the frogs shall come in to thee, and to thy people, and to all thy servants.


But Pharao called Moses and Aaron, and said to them: Pray ye to the Lord to take away the frogs from me and from my people; and I will let the people go to sacrifice to the Lord.


Inquire of the Lord for us: for Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon maketh war against us: if so be the Lord will deal with us according to all his wonderful works, that he may depart from us.


Upon which they came to Moses, and said: We have sinned, because we have spoken against the Lord and thee. Pray that he may take away these serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.


Then Simon answering, said: Pray you for me to the Lord, that none of these things which you have spoken may come upon me.


And all the people greatly feared the Lord and Samuel. And all the people said to Samuel: Pray for thy servants to the Lord thy God, that we may not die; for we have added to all our sins this evil, to ask for a king.
