After all this YHWH struck him in his bowels with an incurable disease.

Instead of sweet spices, there will be rottenness; instead of a belt, a rope; instead of well dressed hair, baldness; instead of a fine clothes, a sackcloth; and branding instead of beauty.


Instantly, an angel of the Lord struck him down, because he didn’t give glory to God. Then he was eaten by worms and died.


YHWH will strike you with the boils of Egypt, with the tumors, with the scurvy, and with the itch, of which you can not be healed.


YHWH will strike you in the knees and in the legs with a sore boil, of which you cannot be healed, from the sole of your foot to the crown of your head.


YHWH will take all sickness away from you, and ʜᴇ will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which you know, on you, but will lay them on all those who hate you.


It exercises all the authority of the first beast in its presence. It makes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed.


The one seated on the cloud swung his sickle across the earth, and the earth was harvested.


And another, a third angel, followed them, saying with a great sound, “If anyone worships the beast and its image, and receives a mark on their forehead or their hand,


I heard a loud sound from the temple, saying to the seven angels, “Y’all go and pour out the seven bowls of God’s fury on the earth!”


and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their anguish and their sores. They still didn’t repent of their deeds.


The first trumpeted, and there was hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was thrown to the earth. One third of the earth was burned down, and one third of the trees were burned down, and all the green grass was burned down.


But YHWH’s hand was heavy on the people of Ashdod, and he destroyed them and struck them with tumors, even Ashdod and its borders.


It was so, that after they had carried it there, YHWH’s hand was against the city with a very great confusion; and he struck the men of the city, both small and great, so that tumors broke out on them.
