Look at everyone who is proud, and humble him. Crush the wicked in their place.


that ʜᴇ would overthrow their offspring among the nations, and scatter them in the lands.


YHWH is on my side among those who help me. Therefore I will look in triumph at those who hate me.


But you, YHWH, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head.


You have made us like sheep for food, and have scattered us among the nations.


God will likewise destroy you forever. Hᴇ will take you up, and pluck you out of your tent, and root you out of the land of the living. Selah.


For YHWH God is a sun and a shield. YHWH will give grace and glory. Hᴇ withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly.


Look on God our shield, look at the face of your anointed.


For the living know that they will die, but the dead don’t know anything, neither do they have any more a reward; for their memory is forgotten.


I will scatter y’all among the nations, and I will draw out a sword after y’all. Y’all’s land will become desolate, and y’all’s cities will become waste.


Then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains. Those who are inside the city must leave, and those who are in the country must not enter it,


YHWH will scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other end of the earth. There you will serve other gods of wood and stone that you and your ancestors have not known.


YHWH will scatter y’all among the peoples, and y’all will be left few in number among the nations where YHWH will drive y’all.


Only be careful, and keep your soul diligently, so that you don’t forget the things which your eyes saw, and so they don’t depart from y’all’s heart all the days of your life. You are to teach them to your children and your children’s children—


In those days humans will seek death, but they will not find it. They will long to die, but death will flee from them.
