Jeroboam said in his heart, “Now the kingdom will return to David’s house.


There were also sodomites in the land. They did according to all the abominations of the nations which YHWH drove out before the children of Israel.


Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? Not one.


how much less one who is abominable and corrupt, a human who drinks iniquity like water!


He says in his heart, “God has forgotten. He hides his face. He will never see it.”


Why does the wicked person condemn God, and say in his heart, “You won’t hold me accountable”?


The wicked, in the pride of his face, has no room in his thoughts for God.


He says in his heart, “I will not be shaken. For generations I will have no trouble.”


YHWH, the God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before you.


A senseless man doesn’t know, neither does a fool understand this:


Yet you have not walked in their ways, nor done their abominations; but soon you were more corrupt than they in all your ways.


Samaria hasn’t committed half of your sins; but you have multiplied your abominations more than they, and have justified your sisters by all your abominations which you have done.


But I tell y’all that everyone who is enraged with their sibling will be subject to judgment. Whoever calls their sibling, ‘You good-for-nothing!’ will be in danger of the council. Whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell.


“But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your soul is required of you. But who will get the things that you prepared for yourself?’


For though they knew God, they didn’t glorify him as God and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless hearts were darkened.


Just as they refused to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not fitting,


For it is shameful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret.


You must not do so to YHWH your God, because every abomination to YHWH, which ʜᴇ hates, they have done to their gods. They even burn their sons and their daughters in the fire to their gods.


For y’all have spent enough time in the past carrying out the desire of the ethnic groups, having walked in sensuality, desires, drunkenness, hard partying, binge drinking, and illicit idolatries.
